Stephen qualified as a solicitor in 1988 and is currently head of the Probate Private Client department dealing with general probate administration/disputes involving probate and Wills and civil claims. He has many years of experience in civil litigation and probate administration and particular expertise in disputed inheritance act claims.

Janet is an experienced family law solicitor, having specialised in family law since she qualified in 1993. Her particular areas of expertise are divorce and the division of the matrimonial finances and pensions, to include Armed Forces and other public sector pensions, and separation agreements, pre-marital agreements and cohabitation agreements. She also provides advice about private children law matters and cohabitation disputes

Janet aims to make the process of separation and divorce as painless as possible and to achieve an early resolution to enable separating couples to move on with their lives. Although Janet is focused on reaching negotiated settlements and achieving early solutions wherever possible, she has considerable litigation experience, having had cases in both the High Court and the Court of Appeal.

She is on the Law Society Advanced Family Panel (the higher tier of the Family Panel) and is a member of Resolution which is committed to reducing conflict and trying to resolve disputes. In her spare time, Janet enjoys spending time with her family and friends, running and walking the family pug in the local countryside.

Michael qualified as a Solicitor in 1986 and has a considerable breadth of experience in legal practice.

Michael has particular expertise in dealing with the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Michael is also head of the conveyancing department dealing primarily with probate property sales.

Michael was a Director at Evans Harvey until 2013 and is well respected in the local community, having clients he has provided legal services to for many years.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys playing golf and spending time with his grandson and family.
