Stamp Duty: The rate of Stamp Duty you will pay may be higher if you own another property or have an interest in another property. If this is the case we would suggest you telephone our conveyancing department for clarification of the Stamp Duty payable. If you do not disclose properties that you own or you do not advise us that you have an interest in another property and you pay the incorrect rate of Stamp Duty due to this non-disclosure, then you risk Inland Revenue pursuing you for the higher rate.
